I`ve been researching how to build an author platform for the past few weeks after talking to the former acquisition editor of Shambhala Publishing and to be frank there is a part of me that feel uneasy about this phase. As much as I have tried to frame the project in accordance to not focus on the 8 worldly concerns, publishing a book requires commercial viably. Alas, i guess every artist has to go through this phase but hopefully, any skill i have acquired through the practice will guide me wisely!
at some point in my glamping journey, i decided i wanted to get off the beaten path of RV sites and just visiting national parks. First i got an overlanding trailer but found that even that was a bit cumbersome to go deep into remote destinations. So after much research and prep, the idea finally came to fruition when i got the truck and wedge camper for it earlier this year. Just enough comfort to not have to worry about th elements but not too where the elements don`t manner. Even though I mostly explored `easy` overlanding destinations this past few months and i must say, even though it isn`t about the destination, you can see why people are drawn to this lifestyle.

Last few months have seen a lot of drone footage and I must confess, it`s a bit of a fun past time. It`s so different than photographing with a hand held camera because the freedom to come things at so many angles is quite interesting.
