Intimate Gatherings

I’ve enjoyed my share of big festivals such as Burning Man and Wanderlust during my time in the Bay Area so I couldn’t resist Barefoot and Free yoga festival at within an hour of my home. Like my time when I am out in nature, I am usually ‘torn’ as a participant and being a photographer.  My desire to be fully present to embrace the experience versus the mindset of being an observer continues but I found myself being able to put the camera down more often at this festival.
