A Spiritual Mecca

I’ve been wanting to visit Crestone for quite some time when I learned that there were a number of Tibetan Buddhist retreat centers in this small town of less than 500 people. Although I didn’t really spend too much time exploring because I was mostly there for do interviews for my Beyond the cushion project, I got enough of the general vibe of the town. Besides a pretty small downtown with limited options, I didn’t think there was enough amenities to live there, so I am guessing most of the people living there are retired/hidden yogis of sorts.
