Strange but fimilar

In the 24 hours that I spent here, I have to frank and confess that it felt a bit too similar to a few of the other national parks I’ve been to. Because I had to get to specific destination by certain date, I opted to keep this visit short because of that similar feeling. I did a few short hikes and for the most part, it all look the ‘same’. I am sure there are more interesting hikes and etc but alas, the the weight of having visited quite a few amazing national parks made Badlands feel rather average. Of course, if i put on my spiritual hat and look at everything with fresh eyes, it would be a different story.
